Quest'anno c'è una grande novità a Porto Mannu: il Torneo Internazionale Capo d'Orso entra a far parte dell'ACP Tour, primo e fin qui unico torneo open italiano a potersi fregiare di questo importante riconoscimento. Non solo: il torneo assegnerà ben 4 wild card ad altrettanti Soci Premium della Association of Chess Professionals: due uomini e due donne.
