There's big news at Porto Mannu: the Capo d'Orso Chess Open has been granted entry to the ACP Tour, the first and hitherto only Italian Open Tournament to receive this honour. And there's more to this: the tournament will grant 4 wild cards for ACP Premium Members, 2 men and 2 women.

The agreement between Porto Mannu and the ACP stems from the common will to provide opportunites for top professionals who are not world class players. For this very reason, the wild cards are available to male players rated below 2650 and female players rated below 2500.
