Regulation

Who qualifies - Open to all players independently of their rating. FIDE titled players shall be invited in order to make FIDE norms possible. All players who lack FIDE rating are required to prove their playing strength by showing an official document issued by their national Federation.
Applicable regulation - FIDE and Italian Chess Federation regulations apply.
Pairings - The tournament is a 9-round event, with pairings according to the Degrading Accelerated Swiss System. We plan to establish 3 groups, accelerate two of them for 6 rounds, with a further acceleration after round two for those who scored at least 75% in their own group.
Rate of play - 90’ x 40 moves + 30’ + 30” increment from move one. Dresden rule does not apply.
